Radium Girls is a powerful and thought-provoking drama based on the true story of the young women who worked in radium-dial factories during the 1920s. Once celebrated for their jobs and the exciting new glow of radium, the workers soon began suffering devastating health consequences. As the women discover the truth about what is making them sick, they face a difficult fight for justice against the companies that employed them. With courage, friendship, and determination at its heart, Radium Girls explores the cost of corporate negligence and the strength of ordinary people who refuse to remain silent.
