An Evening of Theatre, Community & Giving Back
Grab your torches and pitchforks!
Theatre brings generations together, and on October 17, it will help give back to the seniors who helped build Ashe County. Generations Ashe and the Ashe County Little Theatre are joining forces for a special Dinner & a Show that combines live theatre, community connection, and a meaningful mission.
Community members are invited to enjoy an entertaining evening while supporting vulnerable, low-income, and disabled seniors throughout Ashe County. Proceeds from this special collaboration will help ensure local seniors have access to important health care, nutrition, and in-home assistance.
When Theatre Gives Back
Theatre has a unique way of bringing people together. It crosses generations, creates connections, sparks creativity, and gives communities an opportunity to share an experience together. That spirit is at the heart of this collaboration between Generations Ashe and Ashe County Little Theatre.
By using the arts as a vehicle for giving back, this event creates an opportunity for the community to enjoy a night out while directly supporting seniors who need assistance. It is a reminder that caring for the people in our community is something every generation can take part in. Ashe County has been shaped by generations of people who have worked, raised families, volunteered, built businesses, cared for neighbors, and helped make our community what it is today. Supporting local seniors is one way we can give back to the people who have given so much to our community.
“We love using our art to support the people who spent decades building and taking care of our fine mountain community.”
— Ashe County Little Theatre Board of Directors

More Than Entertainment
Community theatre is about more than what happens on stage. It is about connection, creativity, and making a lasting impact on people's lives.
This partnership between Generations Ashe and Ashe County Little Theatre demonstrates what can happen when local organizations come together around a shared purpose. The result is an evening of entertainment that also helps strengthen the community and support neighbors who may need a little extra help.
Whether you come for the theatre, the dinner, the company, or the opportunity to give back, your participation helps make this event meaningful.
Come enjoy the show. Share a meal. Support your neighbors. Help make a difference for Ashe County seniors.
