Ashe County Little Theatre donates to local relief organizations
WEST JEFFERSON — At a holiday gathering in December, Ashe County Little Theatre presented checks to two local relief organizations, Lansing’s Bridge to Recovery and the Musicians Mission of Mercy. The Ashe County Little Theatre used proceeds from the October production of Dracula to support the continuing the Hurricane Helene relief efforts by these two organizations.
Sally Kinka, director of Dracula, presented each organization with a $2,000.00 check. Ms.Kinka stated that, “the cast and crew of Dracula and Little Theatre organization wanted to give back to the community that supported our production. We wanted to be a part of the relief efforts by using theatre and the arts as a healing process.”
Ashe County Little Theatre announces the first play of the 2025 season. Directed by Jim Williams and produced by Rebecca Williams, Who’s on First? will be presented on March 13-16 at the Ashe Civic Center.
