Audition Information

We are excited to announce auditions for our upcoming production of "Young Frankenstein" at Ashe County Little Theatre. This hilarious musical comedy, based on the classic film, is sure to be a crowd-pleaser and we would love for you to be a part of it.

Rehearsals will begin March 27, with performances taking place June 21-25 and possible additional dates of June 30 and July 1.

We will have an optional, pre-audition Workshop on Saturday, March 11 at 10am at the Ashe Civic Center. This workshop is a chance to get the audition music. Alternatively, you can listen to the songs listed below. They are available on Youtube and Apple Music.  The pre-audition will help to provide need info and some movement exercises. We will provide a list of audition songs from the show and the excerpts to be used.

Auditions will be held on March 20 and 21 at 6pm at the Ashe Civic Center. Accompaniment will be provided. There will also be a cold reading from the script. If you are unable to attend auditions on the scheduled date, please let us know and we will arrange for a private audition.

You can fill out a pre-audition form here.

We look forward to seeing you at auditions and are excited to bring this fantastic production to life. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Rebecca Williams (programs@ashecountyarts.org).
